beliqd (“beliqd,” “we,” “us”) is a trip-planning web app operated by Yulia Horwath, a sole proprietor doing business as beliqd in Virginia, USA. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: yulia@beliqd.com.
Information we collect
- Account information — when the trip owner signs in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
- Trip content you create — routes, stays, places, dates, times, titles, notes, and any photos or videos you add, along with related location/place details.
- Technical & usage data — standard log data (e.g., IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) and information stored in your browser (authentication tokens and small preferences via local storage), collected through our infrastructure providers.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and provide the trip planner;
- To authenticate the trip owner and save and sync your trip across devices;
- To secure the service and diagnose problems.
How information is shared
- Publicly, by design. A trip is viewable by anyone who has its link. Do not put anything in publicly-visible fields that you would not want shared. (Fields you mark “private” are shown only to the signed-in owner.)
- Service providers. We use Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) and Google Maps Platform, and load fonts from Google Fonts. These providers process data on our behalf under their terms; your use of maps is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Where data is stored & how long
Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (primarily in the United States) and retained until you delete it or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Your choices & rights
You can view, correct, or delete your trip content while signed in, or contact us to request access to or deletion of your data. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EEA/UK), you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; contact us to exercise them.
Children
beliqd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
